Made to order. 'Looking for Supper'. I am alarmed about the damage being done to our marine life and birds due to rubbish and plastic on our beaches. Beautifully handcrafted made from pebbles, sea glass, driftwood and plastic from beaches on the Isle of Wight. For every environmental picture I sell, I donate my profits to two charities, The Final Straw Solent (Emsworth) and Blue Sea Protection (Isle of Wight).
Every piece of rubbish found goes through an extensive and time consuming cleaning process.
I like to be a little quirky and 'extend' my pictures onto the mount using variations of ink, paint and/or other bits and pieces, with a title written in pencil. No two pictures are the same due to the materials used.
Use only a very soft damp cloth when cleaning acrylic surfaces. Care should be taken to avoid scratches. It is possible to scratch acrylic, so NEVER use any scouring compounds or chemical cleaners even if they are environmentally friendly, organic or non-scented. Acrylic is stable when exposed to sunlight so will not crack or yellow when used in normal environments.
